Fellowship
You know, for as long as I can remember I've always been involved with a church group, and a lot of people would say, "Well as long as you're in church, you're doing the right thing." But in reality, a church setting can be just as, if not more damaging than a worldly setting to our walk with Christ. People who can talk the talk but can't walk the walk can be a huge stumbling block. As Christians who are serious about our walk, we need to be careful to make sure we're hanging around with genuine believers who are also serious. Just something to think about...

I agree. When we start looking horizontally to the people around us as an example and compare ourselves to other Christians we will always stumble and get caught in a place of complacency. Instead, we should look vertically, to Christ for our example and compare ourselves with Him. When we do that, there will ALWAYS be room for improvement in our lives. We can always find a fellow Christian to compare ourselves to that would make us look like a better person, but that is not what God want us to do. He says to follow Him, not our fellow Christians. When we choose to follow Christ, we set a good example for the other Christians around us to follow. If only all of us Christians would follow Christ whole-heartedly...
